ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
All Souls Catholic School's (ASCS) rigorous academic curriculum challenges every child across all grade levels. Our curriculum is in accordance with established Diocesan Standards which are aligned with the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards.
There has been a longstanding tradition of academic excellence at ASCS and that tradition continues with our recent results on the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills (ITBS). The ITBS can help identify areas of relative strength in student academic growth and achievement. Student performance is related to the curriculum, the strength of the instructional program, teacher effectiveness, and positive parental support.
Based on 2010 results, our students scored in the top percentages nationwide on every standardized test taken. Our students scored - an average - 1.7 grade levels above the National Average.
Students are academically challenged by a rigorous curriculum and are prepared to go on to advanced coursework in high school.
